Ok you alien, what have you done with the real Mr Solheim?

There is something fishy going on at HQ Solheim.

First, they agree to waive the 1990 Ping Eye 2 groove settlement.

That's right punters. A forged club from Ping. And I damn well want a set. I really really really want my own set. For different reasons than the Japanese.

It appears that the Japanese market believe that cast clubs are inferior to their forged brethren (no shit Sherlock). The Japanese want no part of stainless steel molding of clubs - it doesn't give them the right feel in the hands, at the 10 storey driving ranges in Tokyo & Osaka.

And it certainly doesn't give them the required feel to get around Mona Vale Golf Course, in under 6 hours. No, they must have a forged club in order to beat the five and a half hour mark.

But bugger the Japs. Apparently this club is like the new I15 - only forged.

Santa. Mum. Dad.??? Please put a set in my stocking this year.
